Awesome game. I love the way you have seamlessly integrated old style hack’n’slash with the modern card craze. Can’t wait to see what else you have coming in this series. What I would love to see is something like this, but with more freedom to explore the dungeon rather than linear path based and a little bit of the old “craft ability” which could be interpreted as being able to combine artifact, item and magic cards to create unique player combinations. I’d also like a little more story. U seem to have great writers(love the humor). Let them loose!

I enjoyed this hack and slash game. The tutorials were helpful, game play was easy to master, and there is a lot of flexibility in developing your cards, which gives your character the powers. I played the warrior and just kept adding to my mana as my character increased levels; there are enough heart bonuses throughout the game, and you really need the blue energy for equipping your cards. Once I beat the Arch-Demon, the free play was fun as well. Nice to have varying levels of difficulty. The higher difficulty levels randomly gave you cards from your deck at each dungeon entrance...you can’t change these until you finish that particular dungeon. Finally, bosses can disable cards...but there are ability cards which prevent the boss from disabling a card (sometimes to the right, left, or both sides).

One part Diablo, one part idle clicker... Book of Demons mashes those two worlds and does it exceptionally well! One of the only problems that affected my play through, ironically enough, was the touch attack controls. It’s sometimes difficult to see where you’re tapping because your hand naturally obstructs the view. Tapping on shields or other special abilities becomes a battle unto itself. Perhaps making those icons larger for mobile versions would be a benefit. Otherwise, 5/5. Definitely worth your hard earned cash.

I’ll bet this ends up being considered better than Diablo: Immortal by many fans of the genre. In a lot of ways the developers understand what makes a hack and slash game fun. There’s no pay to win aspect, and the core gameplay design is well thought out. You can pick it up and play on your time. If you are waiting for a Diablo: Immortal competitor look no further, and you just might find that this game ends up being better.
