a synonym is a word that has the same or nearly the same meaning as another word. an antonym is a word that has the opposite meaning of another word.
how to play:
- you have to switch letters until you get the right word.
1. Beginning Level
beginners should start here. It's not a bad place to start for intermediate levels to start either. These exercises can be tricky. If you are struggling, don't get discouraged! these exercises are tough. they are meant to challenge you.
2. Intermediate Level
intermediate exercises are meant for students looking to take their vocabulary to the next level. while some of the words in this section may seem easy, others are clearly not. also, keep a careful eye on the synonyms/antonyms sign. it is easy to fall into traps looking for the wrong one.
3. Advanced Level
advanced is the most challenging we have to offer. on them you will find the top 250 most common SAT and GRE test vocabulary words. so, think you are up to the challenge?
